Description
This charming porcelain plate is a product of the Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory, founded in Bavaria, in 1814, by Carolus Magnus.The company was renowned world-wide for its production of fine quality porcelain dinnerware and figurines.
This lovely porcelain dinner plate measures approximately 9” in diameter and features an attractive hand-painted white, green and yellow daisy motif.
Signed by the artist, M. H. Resiar, it is beautifully detailed with pastels and gold-gilded trim.
The blue lion insignia, or L.H.S. mark is stamped on the base of the plate and reads, “Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria”.
The base of the plate also displays an incised mold number, “23”.
This pretty plate, with its soft hues and pleasing design, is in very good condition with only slight wear to the gold trim.
Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks, crazing, discoloration or any other evidence of damage.
This is a vintage Hutschenreuther plate that would add its own charm and grace to any collection.
