    Description

    Set of 5 Hutschenreuther Neoclassical Gold Wreath Encrusted Dessert Plates
    Very pretty set of 5 porcelain dessert plates. Each plate is nicely decorated with a border of gold floral encrustation and a ring of neoclassical style gold gilt wreath garlands. Marked on the reverse with an impressed Hutschenreuther mark used starting around 1865. Also marked Hohenberg Ware CMHR Bavaria. This is an overglaze decorator's mark used by Hutschenreuther, probably between 1891 and 1900.
    These have some very minor stacking wear and minor wear to the gilding, but are in otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
    Each plate measures approximately 6 7/8
    inches
    wide.
