    Description

    Rare Antique WWI-Era Paul Muller Bavaria "The Norfolk" China Dinnerware and Serving Pieces. This set has 62 pieces that I am listing for sale.
    Description of "The Norfolk" Pattern: Pompadour Shape, Yellow & Black Border, Ivory Rim with Multi-colored Flowers, White Center, Gold Metallic Trim on Scalloped Pompadour edge. Discontinued.
    These pieces are marked with a printed green pineapple-shaped logo with a Crown on top and inside 'PAUL MULLER SELB'. A slightly arced 'BAVARIA' is below the pineapple to complete the brand.  The Pattern Name is a printed mark, also: a pink arcing 'THE NORFOLK' over '__S 18__'. See the Photos. This Paul Muller Selb Bavaria Mark indicates these would have likely been manufactured just prior to 1917 when Hutschenreuther bought and took over Paul Muller.
    Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. It's hard to believe these are 100 years old! No chips or cracks. Very light shelf wear to the soles of the pieces, and light utensil marks.
