Mid Century Tirschenreuth Clyde Green & Gold Porcelain Tea Cup & Saucer
Nice porcelain tea cup and saucer.. Decorated in the Clyde pattern with a band of pale green framed in gold gilding. With gold gilt highlights to the spout, and foot rim and gold gilding to the finials and handles. Marked on the reverse P T Bavaria Tirschenreuth, after Hutschenreuther had already taken over the factory. This mark was used between 1969 and 1995. Also marked in red Clyde 4245. Probably from the 1970s.
Has some wear to the gilding, especially near the bottom of the handle, but no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 4 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
