    Important!
I have done my best to describe items in the collection based on what I know of family history. You should, however, rely
    only
on what you see in the photographs in making your decision to purchase. As stated below, I DO NOT KNOW all that is in the collection nor what many of the unwrapped items are. I have no expert knowledge regarding the pieces in the collection.
Several patterns are included in this collection. Many of these pieces have been passed down through the family starting in the late 1800’s. The collection includes china, glassware and other pieces.
The first photo is of one of the china sets before it was packed up. Other photos are of various pieces in the collection. I DO NOT KNOW all that is here. The collection was originally packed in 10 large Dish Pack cartons plus a small barrel. I’ve transferred most of the pieces into plastic tubs for easier access (too many styrofoam peanuts in the cartons!). The barrel and 2 cartons remain as they were. Most items are still in their wrapping.
I’ve priced the entire collection at 0 - there are genuine treasures here and 0 will likely turn out to be a bargain. If you disagree re the value make a reasonable offer, not an insulting one. If you have the time, inclination and knowledge to sort through this “treasure trove” I suspect you’ll be well rewarded.
    Notes:
    1) One of the remaining cartons is marked “kitchen china” so I assume it’s less fancy stuff. I believe most of those items would be from the 1950’s or earlier, so they could be interesting.
    2) There are some glass pieces that appear to be crystal but I don’t know for sure.
    3) The tables - one wood, one marble-topped - in the photos are not included.
Trivia: The small clear glass cup with 1876 engraved on it is apparently from the American Centennial celebration in Philadelphia in that same year. An image of Independence Hall is cast into the bottom of the cup. (The ancestors lived in Pennsylvania at that time and the initials of my great-grandfather are engraved on the cup.)
