Hutschenreuther Cobalt & Floral Teapot and Sugar Bowl w/ Lid #01402 Germany

Description

Recent Northern Virginia estate find.  Offing a stunning Hutschenreuther porcelain teapot and sugar bowl with lid.  Excellent condition with n
o chips, cracks, crazing or repairs; extremely light
use.  The only issues we found were some small spots in the inside bottom of the teapot and a very small mark where the lid rests and some gold loss on the upper edge of one side of the sugar bowl (see last two photos).  Both concerns are minor and do not drawn from the grandeur of this set; displays amazingly well.  On both pieces, the decorative elements are near perfect with vibrant colors, other the the rim on the sugar bowl, the gold embellishments are strong, and both have a high, sheen glaze.
