BIC® Prevaguard™ Clic Stic® retractable pen contains an EPA registered antimicrobial agent in the pen’s plastic components. That agent, includes various elements like Zinc that helps protect the plastic on the pen by suppressing the growth of bacteria, molds, mildew and fungi – especially in high-moisture environments. In addition to suppressing bacteria like molds, mildew and fungi on the pen, the antimicrobial agent on the pen enhances product freshness, fights odors, staining and product degradation. The antimicrobial agent should last the lifetime of the plastic unless the plastic is destroyed. In addition to the antimicrobial agent on the pen, the classic BIC® Clic Stic® pens feature a medium ballpoint that delivers precise and even lines.
