Antique 10 Ovington Brothers NY HUTSCHENREUTHER Meissen Flowers & Gold Plates

A stunning antique porcelain set of 10 large dinner plates (chargers/cabinet plates) by Royal Bavarian Hutschenreuther, Germany, sold at Ovington Brothers, New York. They are made of white porcelain surrounded by wide gold encrusted band with embossed scroll work and various other decorations in 24k gold. The center of each plate decorated with Meissen flowers. They are hand painted over a transfer. Each plate is 10 1/4 inches in diameter. The bottom is marked: Royal Bavarian China Hutschenreuther, a Lion with a Crown, Selb, Bavaria, Ovington Brothers New York. The set is in excellent like new condition with no problem to report. If you collect Dresden, Meissen or Rosenthal porcelain, you will just love it. The set is much better in person. Very impressive!
